(the original form iðr); [Goth. ïzwis = υμας and υμιν and ïzwara = υμων]:—you; biðja yðr (acc.), segja yðr (dat.); but koma til yðar, in endless instances; as also when addressing a person of rank, the plur. is used; vil ek gjarna veita yðr þat, Fms. x. 387, passim: or even sing. and plur. promiscuously.
