Löðurr

or Loðurr, [ lodern], one of the names of Loki,—Loðurr is the Prometheus of the Northern mythology, see læ and óðr. Odin, Hænir, and Löðurr were the three gods who created Ask and Embla, : vinr Löðurs, the friend of Löður, = Odin, ( i. 88).
