frón
nafnorðhvorugkyn
a word = land, country, passim; scarcely akin to the frohn = demesne; in poets and in patriotic songs frón is the pet name for itself, Núm. 1. 10, 8. 9, 12. 4. 16; students in Copenhagen about 1763 were the first who used the word in this sense.
